I heard your podcast and I’m eagerly waiting for KDE-PIM 4.5 beta 2, where a couple of major bugs that I reported are already solved or in the way to solving.
A quick wish. How about porting Akonadi to Virtuoso? I know that this has been discussed before, and I know why it hasn’t been done. But my eyes contemplated today an update to Virtuoso 6.1.2, and release notes for that say almost exactly “Fixed Qt ODBC layer interaction with Virtuoso”. So, it can be done now :).
@Alejandro: Yep, it can be done now, and we’re actually in the process of doing it, Volker is working on using Virtuoso as a database backend for the Akonadi server. Something for later versions, not yet 4.5.
